Saturday 5/16: BVM is heading to Alabama! As you all know, the South is fighting back right now against special legislative sessions to re-draw maps in our sister southern states. Disenfranchising Black voters, taking away their representation and ushering in a new era of Jim Crow. We are heading to Alabama the morning Saturday May 16th at 5am to support our Black Alabama voters and speak truth to power! As NC is always in the fight when it comes to maps and re-districting, we can provide a knowing support! Please join us!
The bus will depart Charlotte at 5 am on Saturday morning and return at about 1am Sunday morning. You will need to make your way to Charlotte and back, but we will make sure you are well taken care of once you're in our hands!
